MAXIMALIST
MINIATURIST

Maximal vibe, minimal paint.

I am a multimedia artist with a passion for creating small artworks in a bold way.
I work with a variety of mediums - paint, clay, collage, and digital, but my main practice is painting miniature artworks, typically using acrylic paint, sometimes even on tiny objects.

I love bold colour and I love to work in miniature -maximalism in miniature form.

I find the containment of a small canvas extremely satisfying it in finiteness -you can hold the whole world of the painting in your hand. Working small lets me chase a level of detail that feels almost obsessive, and I love the moment someone leans in close to a two-inch painting and realises how much is actually there. I want that small jolt of wonder, and maybe confusion: how did that fit in something so small?

This site serves as a portfolio of all the art I have made, and continue to make as part of my artistic practice, big and small, bold and bright.

The Rainbow Project is a collection of art that I have made over the last two decades based around the promotion of positive mental health practices through creativity, especially through the lens of neurodivergence.

It is an ever-growing personal project, made up of creative side projects and quests that I take myself on as I fully embrace the fact that creativity is a vital part of keeping myself mentally healthy.

It contains a variety of art, mostly pieces I have made myself during times I need a reminder that it won't always feel as hard as it does in that moment, and share thoughts, ideas, and mechanisms I use to embrace myself, despite the challenges I face as a neurodivergent person. I hope that they might somehow, sometime, help others do the same, as I add to the collection.
